What is PublisherOpsAI?
PublisherOpsAI is a WordPress plugin that acts as the operations layer for AI-assisted content teams. It optimises, humanises, and governs your content from inside your WordPress dashboard — no external tools, no copy-pasting between apps.
Is it a content generator?
No. PublisherOpsAI improves and governs content you already have — it does not write new posts from scratch. It is complementary to tools like Jasper or ChatGPT: you generate a draft, PublisherOpsAI takes it from rough to publish-ready.
Which WordPress versions does it support?
PublisherOpsAI requires WordPress 6.0 or higher and PHP 8.0 or higher. We test against every major WordPress release and publish compatibility notes in the changelog.
Does it work with Gutenberg and Classic Editor?
Yes. The plugin panel appears in the Gutenberg block editor sidebar and below the editor in Classic Editor mode. Both editing experiences are fully supported.
Does it work with page builders like Elementor or Divi?
PublisherOpsAI works with post content stored in the standard WordPress database. For posts and pages built with page builders that store content in shortcodes or proprietary formats, results may vary. We recommend testing on a staging environment first.
Does it replace Yoast SEO or Rank Math?
No — it works alongside them. Yoast and Rank Math handle technical SEO configuration: sitemaps, meta field management, score signals. PublisherOpsAI focuses on content quality, humanisation, and editorial operations. They are designed to coexist. PublisherOpsAI even writes generated metadata directly into Yoast and Rank Math fields when those plugins are active.
API Keys & AI Providers
Do I need my own AI API key?
Yes. PublisherOpsAI connects to your own Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, or Google Gemini account. This means your content is sent directly from your WordPress site to the AI provider — it never passes through our servers. You stay in full control of your content, your data, and your costs.
Which AI providers are supported?
We currently support Anthropic Claude (recommended for editorial quality), OpenAI GPT-4o, and Google Gemini. You can configure your preferred provider in the plugin settings and switch at any time.
How much does the AI usage cost?
AI usage cost depends on which provider you use and how many posts you process. It is billed directly to your account with that provider and is separate from your PublisherOpsAI subscription. Typical optimisation of a 2,000-word post using Claude costs a few pence at standard API rates.
Is my API key stored securely?
Yes. Your API key is encrypted before being stored in your WordPress database. It is never transmitted to PublisherOpsAI and is only used by your WordPress site when you trigger an operation.
Pricing & Billing
What’s the difference between Free and Pro?
Free gives you the core optimisation and humaniser tools with a 10-post monthly bulk limit. Pro unlocks unlimited bulk processing, brand voice profiles, revision history, content quality scoring, scheduled optimisation, schema markup generation, smart internal linking, and broken link monitoring. Can I cancel anytime?
Absolutely. Pro and Agency are month-to-month with no contracts. Cancel whenever you like from your billing portal and you keep access until the end of your current billing period. No cancellation fees.
Is there a free trial for Pro?
There is no time-limited free trial, but the Free plan is available forever at no cost and gives you a genuine feel for the core product. You can upgrade to Pro or Agency whenever you’re ready.
Do you offer refunds?
If you experience a technical issue that we are unable to resolve within a reasonable timeframe, please contact us and we will review your case. We handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis. See our full Terms of Service for details.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via our secure payment processor. Payment details are never stored on our servers.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. You can upgrade from Free to Pro or Agency at any time. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. To upgrade to Agency, contact us.
Privacy & Data
Is my content stored by PublisherOpsAI?
No. Your content is sent directly from your WordPress site to the AI provider you configure using your own API key. PublisherOpsAI servers are never in that data path. Your content stays between you and your chosen AI provider.
Is PublisherOpsAI GDPR compliant?
Yes. We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide our service (account management, support, billing). We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
What personal data do you collect?
We collect data you provide directly: your name and email address when you contact us or create an account, and payment information processed by our payment provider (not stored by us). We may also collect standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) for security and analytics purposes.
How do I request deletion of my data?
Email us at info@publisheropsai.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request” and we will process your request within 30 days in accordance with UK GDPR.
